On Monday forenoon Prof. Harish Ramaswamy arrived at Raichur University and took charge as its founding Vice-Chancellor. On this occasion, Prof. Ramaswamy said his intention was to develop this into an exemplary ‘model’ university. Taking to the staff, he said his first task here would be to commence procedures for Gulbarga University to hand over properties to an independent Raichur University.
